The Hottie and the Hero!

Hello and welcome to our very first KennyK Stamps blog post!

ElenaK here - this has been a long time coming, and we are very excited to share some of our favorite things with you!

In the weeks and months to come we will be developing the look and feel of this blog, while bringing you fun tips and tricks for all levels of card makers, behind-the-scenes secrets, sneak peeks of new releases and much, much more! But for now, let's just dive right in! Check it out …

I am very excited to share my very first Spottie Hottie blog post with you!

For this feature each month I will be searching high and low: stalking Club KennyK, challenge blogs, Pinterest and Instagram for the hottest KennyK card on the block. Only finished cards or paper craft projects are eligible - and really, anything goes as far as what makes a card or project hot! So, post your cards if you want to get noticed by ElenaK!

If you are chosen, I will turn on my spotlight and feature you and your hot card here for all our fans to drool over -- so let's see those cards, you might be next!!!

Our very first Spottie Hottie card for February is this beauty below, created by Jasmine Turandar! She shared it with us on Club KennyK and I have to say, many crafters as well as I were impressed by her spectacular coloring technique, and this lovely card design that complemented Mermaid perfectly!

Jasmine is from Sweden and is currently a student at Mälardalens University! Check out the mad coloring skillz on display at her beautifully-designed and informative blog www.noxine.se, where she's provided excellent close-up shots of this card and a list of all the Copics she used to color this image so fabulously -- go Jasmine! You can also see more of her work on her Instagram page - Noxinee

Superhero paper crafts card making digi stamp from KennyK Stamps preview

Our featured stamp of the month is Superhero, our trusty and very popular digi for men's cards, especially birthdays and Father's Day. That cheesy smile says it all; Superhero is strong, dependable, fun and definitely NOT in danger of taking himself too seriously!

We wanted to share a little bit of the backstory on this image, because it has some history. Kenny created Superhero way back in 2004 for an animation project cheekily-named "Captain Damntastic" (who in my opinion is really KennyK's alter ego, even though he doesn't seem to realize it, lol!).

It's a few minutes long, if you have the time for some lowbrow cartoon animation laughs. And for those sharp-eyed longtime KennyK fans out there, can you spot characters from a few other popular KennyK stamps in this video..?

You are invited to join our awesome new Facebook Fan Group, Club KennyK where you can showcase your work, enter contests, win cool prizes, and mingle with other KennyK fans! We also have a shop Facebook page, KennyK Stamps. Please Like us and join the Club, we’d love to have you!
